Thinking Clearly in Uncertain Times: Insights from Radical Doubt
How do we make confident decisions when the world around us feels unpredictable? How might a toolkit from the creative arts inspire better decision-making? In this keynote address, Bidhan (Bobby) Parmar, Associate Dean of Faculty Development at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, shares a new way of thinking about uncertainty – one that turns doubt into an asset rather than a setback. Drawing on his new book Radical Doubt: Turning Uncertainty into Surefire Success, he explores how moments of hesitation can help us imagine better possibilities. Learn practical tools for navigating everyday choices by generating options, testing intuitions, and staying flexible in the face of change. This accessible approach offers a refreshing perspective: embracing doubt can lead to greater clarity, resilience, and more thoughtful decisions.
